Make a Resolution Keepsake Box!
Hi Scribblers!
Do you have a hard time keeping to your New Year’s Resolutions? I know I have a hard time sticking to my goals, so this year I decided to make a little Resolution Keepsake Box!
I had a lot of fun making this craft, and I’m sure you and your little ones will too!

To start, cut out fun shapes from the tissue paper (I used templates I cut from cardstock to trace out on the tissue paper to help move things along more quickly).
Once you have cut out your tissue paper pieces, lightly brush the Mod Podge onto one side of the shape.
Next, place the tissue paper shape onto the box and smooth out flat with your finger tips.
Continue layering pieces around the box.
When you have covered your box, you can add glitter paint to embellish the box or even try adding rhinestones or buttons!
While the outside and cover dries, add a few more tissue paper pieces to the inside of the box. I like doing this because it gives you a happy burst of color every time you open it!
Once you have finished adding tissue paper pieces, seal the entire box with a thin layer of Mod Podge to hold the pieces in place.
Add your first New Year’s Resolution(s) to the box. I chose to write each resolution on an index card that I decorated to reflect the resolution. This adds a little personality to the resolution and helps make the goal live in your mind.
Continue adding resolutions throughout the year and take a peek at your older resolutions to keep you moving toward your goals!
VERY cute! I need one of these for myself
