Hi Scribblers!
Scribble Town is excited to announce that we will be participating at this year’s Pumpkin Fest in Central Park! Last year we had a blast making pumpkin-themed crafts with the kids at the event and this year we will be getting scribbley making even more pumpkin crafts!
Pumpkin Fest is taking place on Saturday, October 27th from 11am-3pm in Central Park at the Bandshell (enter at 72nd & 5th)
Along with our crafting table, you will also find a hay maze, a chance to go pumpkin picking, fun sponsor tables and more! Hope to see you there!

We wanted to give a big thank you for all the scribblers who joined us at our crafting table at the City of Water Day this weekend! We had a wonderful time!
Last Saturday, July 14th, Scribble Town headed to Governor’s Island for the City of Water Day festival! We had a blast! We were so happy to see the many smiling scribblers join us at our table.

Hi Scribblers,
We’ll be off on another adventure this weekend getting scribbley with the community on Governor’s Island for City of Water Day!
Come join us on Saturday, July 14th to make water-themed crafts! We will be there from 10am-4pm.
Simply take the free ferry Governor’s Island Ferry from downtown Manhattan to Governor’s Island.

Aquarium Adventures!
We’re almost half way through Zoo & Aquarium Month! Have you taken your kids to visit a local zoo or aquarium? Taking your children to zoos, aquariums, planetariums and museums is a great way to educate and broaden the kids understanding of the world and culture. It is also a great way to inspire creativity!

As the kids come across new sights, new creatures and revelations, their minds will soar with questions, curiosity and a desire to share those experiences with others! Coloring and drawing is a great way to do this!

Getting Scribbley at Picnic In Your Playground!

Yesterday, May 23rd, we had a wonderful time getting scribbley with the kids at the Picnic In Your Playground event in Central Park! We would like to thank Kelley Moore for coordinating the event! Picnic In Your Playground was an event just for kids! There were table set up in Heckscher Playground with tons of fun-themed activity. Scribble Town was busy making picnic-themed puppets and fun birdhouses!

Picnic In Your Playground!

It may be a little overcast today, but Scribble Town is headed to Central Park for the Picnic In Your Playground event! We will be making picnic/outdoor-themed arts & crafts!

Fun at BayFest 2012!
Hi Scribblers!
Yesterday, May 20th, we had a great time at BayFest 2012 in Sheepshead Bay in Brooklyn. We were getting scribbley with the kids making fun water-themed arts & crafts!
We had crafters of all ages visit our table!
All the crafters really put their heart into the crafts and took time to make some great crafts! Tyree, a young man who loves to make portraits, carefully colored in his boat-themed puppets!
We even had a few crafters come up with their own crafts! Miriam drew a picture of a girl!
Miriam is a young girl who is certainly a talented artist! You can check out more of her art here.
Scribble Town will be participating in festivals throughout the summer! You can find us next at Riverdale Riverfest on June 24th!

Hi Scribblers!
I hope you had a lovely week! The weather was beautiful these past few days and it really put me in a happy mood! This weekend I’ll be out with a few of the other scribblers from Scribble Town to enjoy some more time in the sun while getting scribbley making arts & crafts at Brooklyn’s BayFest!
The BayFest is Brooklyn’s largest waterfront celebration featuring over 25 bands and dance groups, arts & crafts, food vendors and more!
Scribble Town will be at the event making fun maritime crafts! It is 100% free to participate so bring the kids and get scribbley!
We hope to see you there!

Since we saw the first craft entry, we were so unbelievably impressed with everyone’s hard work and dedication in facing the Scribbleshop.com Scribble Challenge.
After much consideration, we narrowed the entries down to 5 finalists:
