Easter-themed Chocolate Covered Pretzels!

Still looking for that extra something special to make a statement this Easter Holiday? Scribbleshop.com has got you covered! Surprise friends and loved ones with these adorable and tasty chocolate covered pretzels!

With Wilton Chocolate Candy Molds and Candy Melts, you can easily create festive treats to serve to the family our present as party favors!

To make these yummy Easter delights, you will need:
- Wilton Candy Melts in White
- Wilton Candy Melts in Pink
- Wilton Candy Melts in Light Cocoa
- Wilton Candy Colors (Use as food coloring to make more colors with the White Candy Melts)
-Wilton Easter-themed Candy Molds
- Wilton Pastry Brushes

To start, simply grab a few bags of colorful candy melts. One bag at a time, pour the candy pieces into a zipper-seal plastic bag, place in a microwave-safe dish and microwave 50% power at 30-second intervals stirring in between intervals until it runs smooth.

Decorate portions of the mold by carefully pouring a small amount of the candy melts into each mold using varying colors to create the desired effect.  For the more difficult spaces, use the Wilton pastry brush to reach and fill in the tiny crevices of the mold.

Once you have decorated the lowest layer of the mold and are ready to use a solid colored chocolate to finish, pour a small amount of chocolate into the mold and place the pretzel into the mold. Begin to pour the chocolate and twist the pretzel so that it’s completely covered.

Continue to add chocolate until the mold is filled.

Once the mold is filled, place that mold into the refrigerator until the bottom of mold appears frosty or the candy feels firm. When the molds are ready, pop the chocolate covered pretzels out of the mold. Plate for display or put into chocolate-covered-pretzel party favor bags!

Enjoy and be sure to check out our Scribble Shop page for more craft ideas!

Happy Easter!

Make Easter Ornaments!

When it comes to holidays, sometimes it helps to think outside the box to add little pizazz to your holiday home decor!

Using cookie cutters and a rolling pin, you can easily create Easter Ornaments to decorate your home!

For this craft you will need:
- Easter-themed Cookie Cutters
- A Rolling Pin
- AMACO Air Dry Modeling  Clay
- Colorful Acrylic Paints

To start, roll out the clay to a thickness of 1/4″ onto canvas or wood using the rolling pin.

Gently lift the shapes from the clay.

Smooth out the edges of the clay cut outs and make a hole in the top (to hang) by using a plastic straw. Simply push the straw through the clay.

Spring Has Sprung!

Hi Scribblers!

Did you enjoy your first day of Spring? I love spring, the chirping birds, the warmer weather, the budding flowers. Flowers have always brought a smile to my face. There is just something so wonderful about the sweet and pleasant scents and beautiful colors, don’t you agree?

This spring, spend time with your kids and teach them about the different flowers. Take a walk in the park, a trip to the botanical gardens or just stroll around through your backyard!

To celebrate the new season and embrace the joy of flower power, make a fun Flower Power wall hanging!

This craft is super simple with the sm’ART foam Magic Garden kit and colorful popsicle sticks!

Simply decorate a solid color piece of foam with the foam cut-out letters. The letters from this kit have a sticky sticker back. Just peel off the back and stick in place!

Embellish with the cut-out flowers and/or butterfly pieces (also stickers!)

Add a few flower pieces to the ends of popsicle sticks. The flower pieces are actually three pieces in one. You can pop up the inner pieces and swap out with other colors to create a more decorative flower.

Use a hole punch to add two small holes the the top left and right corners.

Place one end of a pipe cleaner through each of the holes and twist the ends to secure.

Use Tacky Glue to glue the popsicle sticks to the back of the craft.

Hang up and enjoy!!

Happy Spring!

The First Day of Spring is here!

Hi Scribblers,

Today is such a beautiful day can you believe Spring is here already? As I was looking outside the window this morning I noticed that the buds on the trees are blooming, that’s how I knew Spring had arrived.  Here are five other signs to know that Spring has come:

- Worms begin to emerge from the earth

- You will see Ladybugs outside

- Green buds appear

- Birds chirp

- The temperature will get warmer

I wanted to make something pretty to celebrate today, so I made a Spring Clay Plaque using Paper Clay. It was so easy to use and fun to make. Use this for inspiration to make your own Spring plaque with this soft malleable clay. Here are some simple steps to make your Plaque.

To Start, I gathered all of my Supplies.

Next, roll out the Paper Clay, and cut out all of the shapes you want to use. I made a circle then placed all my flowers on top (to stick them together just use a dab of water). Let your plaque dry over night.

This is the fun part, it’s time to paint your plaque. You can use different colors and glitter, get creative!

This is how my plaque turned out. How does yours look?

To show us your Plaque click  here or post them to our

Get scribbly and have a Happy Spring.
