Did you know that June is National Zoo & Aquarium Month? With the lovely weather we’ve been having, June is a great time to take a trip to the local zoo or aquarium. Zoos and aquariums are always a hit with the kids! I love watching the kids eyes light up as they see lions close up or get to see the baby belugas swimming in the aquarium! Whatever your favorite land or sea creature or activity is, June will be a great time to spend time with and educate your kids as you take the opportunity to explore all that nature and wildlife has to offer!

The Association of Zoos and Aquariums is a great resource tool to find a local exhibit near you! Check out the site to find out where your closest zoos and aquariums might be!
